Eternal Sunshine

But somehow I got a lot of random “hey, you look very nice today”s. Usually that only happens when I make an effort to dress up.

But today I got a lot of those…mostly it was “I like your shirt!” (I got a new t-shirt. It is pretty cool, I must say, picture later) and one probably-half-sarcastic “you look very pretty today” from a friend on the guy’s tennis team when I passed by.

And then I had an epiphany. I think it’s because I’m happy. I’ve been trying to keep up a positive attitude as much as possible and have begun a process of…well, I’ll call it spring cleaning —- for my life. 

And just like what they say about sex and pregnancy, I guess happiness also gives you that healthy golden glow more powerful than what shampoo, eyeliner, and fancy clothes can provide or what money can buy. 

It’s a good shade for everybody and it’s a flattering kind of one size fits all :]
